True Blizzard Hits Texas – 2/15/21
With 6 1/2 inches of snow at 434 Ridgewood
Followed by a bone-chilling deep freeze
Fishpond Waterfalls Freeze over
But circulation pumps keep running and amazingly fish survive!
Bamboo couldn’t handle weight of ice and snow

Blocking a good part of the road…
Rain chains iced over
With big icicles forming on scuppers
Not advisable to walk under with sun coming out
We were one of the lucky ones – only lost electricity for a ~6 hours – but water was a different matter…
Turns out that nice white snow isn’t exactly “pure” after melting
While “Snowmageddon 2021” caused many hardships, there were some heart-warming stories that arose..
